The train derailment has the highest profile of all the local effects from recent heavy rains, but Fridley has seen high water in other places as well.

Juleigh Perona sent these photos of the ponds at Communty Park overflowing onto the University Avenue Service Road.

And someone uploaded a video to YouTube showing more water standing in a Fridley street.

If you drive on central between east and west Moore lake, you see a lake in a back yard. You could actually fish from the backyard slide. (grin)
