Photos/Video: On the Ice for the First Day of Winter at Fridley's Commons Park
It was a day of firsts for three skaters Thursday.
Thursday, the first official day of winter, was also the first day ever of skating on ice for Paige Logan, 7, and her brother Gondorchin, 6, at Commons Park in Fridley. At the next rink, Tim Peterson was trying out hockey moves for the first time in two years.
