At Summit Square Park, neighbors mourned the loss of three trees to the 2011 tornado. At Park Plaza Co-op, neighbors welcomed three celebrated guests: Mayor Scott Lund, Police Chief Don Abbott and Fire Chief John Berg.
At both Night to Unite block parties, they enjoyed each other's company and celebrated what the have together.

We had a grand night. Thank you Target for making our Night to Unite so happy and so wonderful. We couldn't have done it without you this year and we hope to connect with you again soon. Thank you to all the people who came to visit and to all the wonderful residents who came to share lots of smiles and hugs. I love our communtiy it is pretty special. Thank you Fridley Patch for sharing these great pics.
