It's not for everyone, but the Crashed Ice downhill skating course drew at least one person from Fridley: Clint Massey.
Massey featured in photos that appeared in the St. Paul Pioneer Press, at the Crashed Ice website, and at Stillwater Patch.
He qualified Thursday, coming in 29th in the National Shootout (click here for a PDF with full list of results from Thursday’s national time trials).
The St. Paul finals was broadcast live on Red Bull TV starting at 7 p.m. Saturday night. That competition will also air nationally on NBC on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 1 to 3 p.m.
