Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts in Fridley starts its holiday season Thursday with its High Tea and Silent Auction. To attend one of the four seatings for tea at 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m. or 8 p.m., call 763-574-1850 or email info@banfill-locke.org.
The event also signals the start of the arts center's annual holiday sale of artist-made gifts.
A Gift for All Seasons is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., through Dec. 17, with special hours on these days:
- Friday, Dec. 2, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 4, noon-4 p.m.
- Thursday, Dec. 8, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Friday, Dec. 9, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 11, noon-4 p.m.
Proceeds from the events go toward programs at the arts center.
