Fridley's was one of at least five fire departments that went to the aid of St. Anthony firefighters at a blaze in a residence in the 2900 block of 33rd Ave. NE Tuesday around 8 p.m., according to Twin Cities Fire Wire.
That was towards the end of a two-day Red Flag Warning from the National Weather Service that Fridley Fire Chief John Berg said Monday indicated hazardous conditions for firefighters.
