LAST CHANCE: See 'MN on the Map' at Fridley History Center on Saturday

Exhibit from Minnesota Historical Society with special Fridley material closes March 9, 2013.

Saturday, March 9, 2013, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. is your last chance to see the exhibit Minnesota on the Map at the Fridley History Center, 611 Mississippi St., Fridley.

Robert Christenson, past president of the Fridley Historical Society, laid out the exhibit's appeal in an email this week:

This coming Saturday, March 9, is the final day that the exhibit Minnesota on the Map will be available for viewing at the Fridley History Center. There are many maps of Minnesota to look at, and if you have lived in this state for any length of time, especially if you now live or formerly lived in Fridley, you will find very interesting information you may not have known. Some are aerial maps so you can view houses and other buildings from above. There is also a video station. Last chance this Saturday!

For children there are map and craft activities. And for everyone, coffee and juice will be served.
