In Fridley, Your Recycling Day Can Text You Now
Sign up to get reminders from Allied/Republic Waste Services when it's your week for recycling collection.
If you can't tell by how many milk jugs you've gone through, the City of Fridley's recycling services provider will now send you text messages to remind you your recycling day is coming up.
You'll also get a message from Allied/Republic Waste Services if the pickup day changes because of a holiday or weather conditions.
To sign up, text Blue to 292929 if your Allied Waste recycling calendar shows your home is located in a Blue Week area. Text Grey to 292929 if it shows you are in a Grey Week.
You can expect to get a message on the Sunday of your recycling week.
It's free to sign up, but your cell phone carrier may apply standard fees for text messages.
