SLP Boys Hoops Drops 3rd Straight in OT
Spring Lake Park boys basketball lost to Irondale 104-101 in overtime.
The Spring Lake Park High School boys basketball team, ranked No. 2 in the state's Class 3A on Feb. 1, has since lost three straight games.
On Monday, the Panthers lost in overtime to Irondale 104-101, according to MN Basketball Hub.
On Saturday, it was Centennial with a 71-66 win over SLP, according to the Minnesota State High School League.
And on Friday, in a closely watched matchup, the Panthers suffered a final-seconds defeat to top-ranked Benilde-St. Margaret's 67-65, as reported by the Star Tribune, with senior Sean Scott scoring 36 points. (KARE11 has video from the game.)
