Knuth, Goodwin, Laine to Hold Listening Sessions

Events are Saturday at Mississippi Branch Library, New Brighton Community Center.

 

Three state legislators representing parts of Fridley will hold events billed as "listening sessions" on Saturday, Feb. 4.

Sen. Barb Goodwin (DFL-50) and Rep. Carolyn Laine (DFL-50A) will be at the Mississippi Branch Library at 11 a.m.

Goodwin and Rep. Kate Knuth (DFL-50B) will be at the New Brighton Community Center, 400 10th St. NW, New Brighton, at 2 p.m.

According to an announcement for the events, the legislators invite constituents to "stop by and meet with them regarding any ideas, issues or concerns that are on your mind."

The Minnesota Legislature came back into session last week. Goodwin, Laine and Knuthwant to "touch base with their constituents before they vote on important issues," the announcement said.
