Earth Day Litter Pick-Up
When: Saturday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to noon
Where: Moore Lake Park and Beach
Why Go: Take pride in keeping your community clean.
Price: Volunteer your time

Spring Fling
When: Saturday, April 23 from noon to 4 p.m.
Where: Springbrook Nature Center
Why Go: Celebrate “spring” on the nature trail, in the petting zoo, playing carnival games and meeting a giant rabbit.
Price: $6 per person

Hawaii Revealed
When: Saturday, April 23 at 2 p.m.
Where: Northtown Library (711 County Rd. 10 NE, Blaine)
Why Go: It’s not too late to mentally travel to island life through traditional music from the soul of Hawaii.
Price: Free

Family Table Luncheon
When: Saturday, April 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Fridley United Methodist Church
Why Go: Enjoy a hot meal served family style with other members of the community.
Price: Free

Wizard of Oz
When: Saturday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Spring Lake Park High School (1100 81st Ave. NE)
Why Go: There’s simply no place like home on a holiday weekend.
