Here's the announcement Thursday at the City of Fridley website:

No snow? NO PROBLEM! The 2013 Winter Festival will be held Saturday, January 26th at Commons Park from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. with plenty of activities for all.

Some of the outdoor activities we will have include hayrides, a bonfire, and medallion hunt ($100 cash prize)—hopefully we will have enough snow to bring out the dog sleds. Indoors, at the Community Center, we will have a kids’ dance, carnival games, refreshments, BINGO, and more! All activities are free thanks to donations from local groups and organizations—food and refreshments will be available for purchase.
