Fridley Winterfest Will Have Fun for All—with or without Snow

Saturday afternoon festival is at Commons Park and Fridley Community Center.

If you had any doubts, Fridley's Winterfest is on.

Here's the announcement Thursday at the City of Fridley website:

No snow? NO PROBLEM! The 2013 Winter Festival will be held Saturday, January 26th at Commons Park from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. with plenty of activities for all.

Some of the outdoor activities we will have include hayrides, a bonfire, and medallion hunt ($100 cash prize)—hopefully we will have enough snow to bring out the dog sleds. Indoors, at the Community Center, we will have a kids’ dance, carnival games, refreshments, BINGO, and more! All activities are free thanks to donations from local groups and organizations—food and refreshments will be available for purchase. For further information on this fun winter event, contact the Parks & Recreation department at 763-572-3570.
