Fridley Public Schools Closed Monday in Wake of Tornado
Many areas still recovering from Sunday's storm.
Fridley Public Schools are closed Monday after a tornado left areas of the city without power and other services and strewn with fallen trees, making roads impassable.
Calls to the school district office were not going through Monday morning. The district's official outlets for announcing school closings, KARE 11 and WCCO, listed Fridley Public Schools as closed "through Monday."
