OK, I agree---texting while driving is wrong--and dangerous. But as someone who has tried to take a picture or 2 on the fly--so is that. Would be rather ironic if the person taking the picture got in an accident. Officer: What were you doing when you got rear ended by car A? "Taking a picture of someone texting while driving."

How does @ameliasprout know she was texting? Maybe she was looking through her contacts to call someone. MYOB and leave the policing to the police!

Good points all, and ... how do you prove to a police officer or state trooper that you were using your phone as a phone? Or do you have to?
