Fridley-area Athletes Head for State Track Meet
Fridley, Spring Lake Park and Totino-Grace competing.
Several athletes from three Fridley-area high schools—Fridley, Totino-Grace and Spring Lake Park—will compete in the state high school track and field meet Friday and Saturday at Hamline University.
MN Boys State Track Meet
Spring Lake Park: CJ Janu (11), 110 meter hurdles. He has the fourth best time (14-65) among 24 competitors.
Spring Lake Park: David Shadduck (12), 800 meter run. He has the fastest time (21.88) among 26 competitors.
Totino-Grace: 200 meter dash. Alex Wagner (12) has fourth fastest time (22.10) and Jared Schmit (11) has the ninth-fastest time (22.23) among 26 competitors.
Spring Lake Park: 4x200 meter relay. Spring Lake Park/St. Anthony Village has third best time (1.28.79) among 17 other teams.
MN Girls State Track Meet
Fridley: 300 meter hurdles. Hannah Niewald (12). She has the eighth-fastest time among 18 competitors.
Spring Lake Park: 800 meter run (wheelchair). Jolynn Super (10) is the only competitor listed.
Totino-Grace: 100 meter hurdles. Casie Pawlick (11) has the fifth-fastest time (15.06) among 16 competitors.
Totino-Grace: 4x800 meter relay. has the fourth best time (9:25.43) among 16 teams competing.
