Football and Footlghts: Get Out in Fridley

Do you like your drama on the stage or the gridiron—or both?

 

Fridley folks have their hands full this weekend, with theater and athletics all over.

Spring Lake Park High School vs. Bemidji
When: Friday, Nov. 11, 8 p.m.
Where: St. Cloud State University
Why Go: A little road trip to see the Panthers in the Class AAAA state tournament quarterfinals.
Price: Adults, $8; students, $5

Totino-Grace High School vs. Prior Lake
When: Friday, Nov. 11, 8 p.m.
Where: Metrodome
Why Go: The Eagles go downtown for their first state tournament game in their new class: AAAAA. Added drama: It's Prior Lake's first trip to the post-season ever.
Price: Adults, $8; students, $5

The Crucible
When: Friday, Nov. 11, and Saturday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Spring Lake Park High School
Why Go: This high school production puts a theatrical twist on Arthur Miller’s classic play.
Price: $4 students, $6 senior citizens, $8 adults 

The Importance of Being Earnest
When: Saturday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m.
Where: Calvin Christian High School
Why Go: Go Wilde for this staging of a classic.

Footloose
When:
Friday, Nov. 11, and Saturday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m.
Where: Fridley High School
Why Go: Let's dance!
Price: Adults, $9; Students and senior citizens, $6
