Residents across most of Fridley have the chance to vote Tuesday on school-district levy questions as well as school board candidates.
Three of the city's four school districts—Fridley (District 14), Spring Lake Park (District 16) and Anoka-Hennepin (District 11)—are holding elections. Only Columbia Heights (District 13) is not.
All three school districts have levy referendum questions on their ballots. All three also have school board candidates on their ballots, but only the Spring Lake Park district has more candidates than seats up for election.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can register to vote at your polling place with proof of residency. The polling places for each school district are (see map at lower right):
- Fridley School District: Fridley High School Auditorium, 6000 W. Moore Lake Dr., Fridley.
- Spring Lake Park School District (Fridley residents): Woodcrest Elementary, 880 Osborne Rd. NE, Fridley. (For polling places for residents outside Fridley, click here.)
- Anoka-Hennepin School District (Fridley residents): Springbrook Nature Center, 100 85th Ave. NE, Fridley (For polling places for residents outside Fridley, click here.)
