Drive-Thru Customers Paid It Backward at Fridley McDonald's
'Small acts of kindness are contagious,' said a woman in a 'Missed Connections' Craigslist post whose meal was paid for by the driver ahead of her.
Customers created a chain of charity earlier this month in a most unexpected place: the drive-through lane at McDonald's in Fridley.
That's according to a "Missed Connections" posting at Craiglsit:
Random act of kindness - w4w - 25 (Fridley Mcdonalds)
To the woman who decided to pay for my meal at the drive through window this morning in Fridley. I would like you to know that your small act of kindness meant a lot to me. Your kind deed didn't go unnoticed, as I decided to pay for the person behind me, and I heard that guy tell the window driver to pay for the person behind him and so on and so forth. Sometimes small deeds have a bigger effect than intended and small acts of kindness are contagious. So, thank you for brightening my Saturday morning and others :-)
