Burglars Targeting Trail's End Store Used Bowling Ball Sized Boulder

Guns again taken in third break-in since July 2011, KARE 11 reported.

Burglars stole as many as 12 handguns Monday from Trail's End store in Fridley, according to KARE 11.

And two other break-ins, in July 2011 and July 2010, resulted in the loss of handguns and assault rifles in the dozens, KARE 11 said.

The method of entry in the Monday incident: a bowling-ball-sized boulder thrown through the front window.

Trail's End is one of three businesses in Fridley where you can buy deer hunting licenses, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
